Our event spaces cater to any sized groups from an intimate gathering to a big bash for up to 400 people. Set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens, capitalising on Queensland's much-loved climate and boasting 180 degree views of South Bank's iconic beach, Southbank Beer Garden is the perfect destination for your function.
River Room
This private function room is available to hire for a range of events including corporate boardroom meetings, conferences, cocktail parties, birthdays, weddings and a range of celebrations. It includes two balconies with sweeping views of the city and river.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?This event will be restricted to over 18’s only. There will also be a range of non-alcoholic drinks available in all packages throughout the event. IDs and tickets will be checked with security at the venue entrance.

Do you cater to dietary requirements?We strive to accommodate most food allergies and dietary requirements. Please include these details at checkout.

Can you reserve a table?There’s no allocated seating, so arrive early to secure your spot.

When does the food and beverage package start and end?Please aim to arrive at the venue before the beverage and food package starts. 8:30pm-12:30am. Drinks are available to purchase before and after the package.

How do the beverages work for the Southbank Beer Garden event?You will receive a wristband to access the beverage package. Your ticket to the event includes a welcome cocktail. Additional drinks outside of the package options can be purchased throughout the event from our menu.
